THE GLORIA STORY to join The Quireboys on acoustic tour in December

Swedish old school rockers, THE GLORIA STORY, known for their flamboyant, high voltage 70′s style rock shows, strip down to the core as frontman Filip Rapp and guitar player Freddie Axelsson, along with backup vocalist Bella Varini hit the road for an acoustic tour of the UK together with THE QUIREBOYS!The Gloria Story has released three albums which all broke into the top-20 in Sweden and landed them rave reviews in most major rock Magazines. For nearly ten years the band have toured the clubs and festivals of Europe, bringing entertainment to lovers of classic, party oriented rock and roll. In recent years they’ve been opening for acts like Thin Lizzy, Black Star Riders, Gilby Clarke, H.e.a.t. and last winter; The Quireboys – who they are excited to once again join forces with.

This will be The Gloria Story’s first ever tour of the UK. The intimate, acoustic shows will focus on the music, featuring songs from the bands entire catalogue, some interesting covers, along with plenty of fun and jaw dropping stories from life on the road.

The sound is based around two acoustic guitars, excellent vocal harmonies and for some of the more driven songs a vintage, KORG drum-machine from the early 1980’s will bring a unique, analogue beat.
