The Devil’s In The Detail
featuring Ginger Wildheart
Texas based singer/songwriter Ryan Hamilton and his band The Traitors announce the official release of their new album The Devil’s In The Detail on April 7th, following their 8 date sold out  UK tour.
The Devil’s In The Detail  is an uplifting and energetic yet sensitive album, that celebrates music and storytelling. These 12 finely crafted songs clearly represent Ryan Hamilton and The Traitors distinctive mix of melodic pop and rock. Listen now to the infectious single Heavy Heart currently on Kerrang! Radio play list :  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy_YM8881p8
Aside from Ryan the album features UK musicians, including Ginger Wildheart – who handpicked Ryan & the Traitors as his main tour support in 2016 and plays lead guitar on the majority of the tracks. Scottish singer/songwriter Chrissy Barnacle also provides velvety backing vocals and duets on Don’t Say I Told You So.
The Devil’s In The Detail, recorded in Scotland in a “building that’s older than America” with producer Dave Draper, perfectly captures the bands live sound. It’s the first album I’ve ever made where I haven’t wanted to go back and make changes.” explains Ryan “For me, it’s a wonderful marriage of pop, rock & country. Something really cool happens when you bring my classic rock, hair metal loving British band mates, and my old school country, pop/rock loving Texan self together. It shouldn’t come together as organically as it does, but it works, and we love it.”
Full of melody and charm with no reliance on nostalgia The Devil’s In The Detail is an aural treat and truly deserves a place in your heart.

About Ryan Hamilton
Growing up in the heart of a music loving state like Texas, it would have been hard for acoustic singer songwriter Ryan Hamilton to avoid being exposed and eventually fall in love with music. Even as young as eight years old, whilst traveling in his Dad’s truck listening to John Cougar Mellencamp, the music bug had already bitten. Once he discovered The Eagles, with their unbelievable musicianship and vocal harmonies, the young Hamilton realized that music was a journey he wanted to take.
Initially tasting nationwide success in the US with the indie folk band SMILE SMILE, it was whilst performing at the South by South West Festival in 2010, that Ryan met Jaret Reddick (front man for pop punk band Bowling For Soup). A kinship in mutually similar influences growing up, soon led to the formation of their band PEOPLE ON VACATION.
In 2015 Ryan released his first solo album Hell of a Day, entirely funded on Pledge Music, which quickly became the most critically acclaimed of his career. He launched his own record label (Fanny Pack Records), toured all over the US and UK doing unorthodox things such as house party tours. This helped develop an incredibly loyal following, making genuine connections with his fans, and leaving all preconceived notions about the music business behind.
2016 sees further evolution as former People on Vacation, UK musicians Rob Lane and Michael Richards join Ryan officially under the band name ‘the Traitors’, recording the album in Scotland. The Devil’s In The Detail.
2017 Ryan Hamilton and his band The Traitors embark on a sold out UK and release the sumptuous new album The Devil’s In The Detail.
